Technology is both a blessing and a curse in our lives today. With advances in technology, it can be easy to become overwhelmed by the amount of features available. However, these advances have created more user errors and company idiocy which can lead to frustrating experiences for users. A personal experience I encountered was when I purchased an item online that had an unexpected price tag at checkout due to hidden fees and taxes. This situation impacted me because it was an unnecessary expense that could have been prevented if the company had been upfront about all the costs associated with their product. Companies should prioritize customer service and usability when creating new technologies so as not to create difficult or awkward situations for users in the future. To do this, companies need to make sure that all fees are stated clearly from the start; build interfaces that are intuitive and easy-to-navigate; take customer feedback into account; provide detailed instructions on how to use any given product; offer support options such as live chat or phone lines if customers encounter difficulties with their products or services; provide quick resolutions for any issues reported by customers; remain transparent about pricing changes/updates before they come into effect so customers are not caught off guard by them. By following these principles, companies will ensure better user experience while reducing instances of frustration or confusion caused by user errors or company idiocy in the future.
